Whenever a receiver gets hurt early in the year, it's easy for drafters to forget about them. Campbell had nine targets, six receptions, and 71 yards in the one game he played last year. Do you know how many times Michael Pittman (who's being drafted as a top-50 wide receiver) can say he hit those numbers? Once. Both former second rounders have a ceiling depending on who Carson Wentz favors, but it's not built into Campbell's price. If Wentz keeps doing what he did in Philadelphia, that's targeting tight ends/slot receivers over the middle of the field, which is primarily where Campbell lines up.

Parris Campbell expected to be Colts' breakout candidate, per beat writer

Zak Keefer with The Athletic has deemed Parris Campbell as his most likely breakout candidate for the Colts, stating that "coach Frank Reich has big plans for him."

Fantasy Impact

Campbell's two-year career has been derailed by injury twice now, but the speedy receiver out of Ohio State is hoping to get back on track for Year 3. In the one full game he played last season, Campbell commanded nine targets which he turned into six receptions for 71 yards. With T.Y. Hilton now 31 years old, the WR1 position in Indianapolis could be up for the taking. Campbell and second-year Michael Pittman Jr. are the two realistic threats to supplant Hilton. Pittman had a respectable rookie campaign but struggled with injuries himself. Pittman has the edge in size and draft capital over Campbell, but Campbell's speed and explosiveness give him big-play ability that Pittman does not possess. Despite his blazing 4.31 40-yard dash coming into the 2019 draft, Campbell dropped to the second round. He showed his ability as a playmaker in Week 1 last season and will look to bounce back in 2021 with Carson Wentz now under center. Campbell is our WR66 in Expert Consensus ranking, Hilton is our WR52, and Pittman is our WR48. Given the lack of certainty surrounding the pecking order in Indianapolis, all of the receivers can be had a discount in fantasy football drafts. Whoever comes out on top of this depth chart will surely outperform their ADP.
