Togiai is a physical iDL prospect that is tough to handle due to a low center of gravity. He plays anywhere from 0-tech to 2-tech and thrives when he's asked to get after the QB. Sufficient against the run, but can struggle to anchor when he goes up against bigger iOLs. Against smaller and shiftier interior lineman, he's able to win consistently due to his strong first step off the line of scrimmage combined with his bowling ball type frame. Consistently able to play with leverage and he combines it with speed and athleticism. Shows room for growth in terms of hand technique, but has a solid enough understanding that he won't be a liability out on the field right away. Can struggle with outside zone rushing attacks and struggling to get to the outer shoulder first, but the athleticism is there. Has a solid read on the backfield and is able to keep his eyes active in run defense. Overall, Togiai has promise as a 4-3 DT that can be at his best when he's able to get after the QB. An early Day 2 pick.
