Allgeier finished with 19 touches and 70 total yards as he split the red zone work with Jeremiyah Love. Each back had three red zone rushing attempts. Allgeier churned out a nice 2.59 yards after contact per attempt in Week 1 while recording a 12% missed tackle rate (meh). Allgeier will have to get by with volume this week because Seattle won't allow much breathing room on the ground. In Week 1, Seattle allowed the 12th-lowest explosive run rate, the 12th-lowest rushing success rate, and they had the fifth-highest stuff rate.

Allgeier shouldered the majority of the backfield load for the Cardinals on Sunday, getting six more carries than Jeremiyah Love. Allgeier was not especially impressive, averaging just 3.6 yards per carry with a long of 11. Allgeier will remain involved, but the share of the carries should tilt more toward Love as the rookie gets further removed from the ankle sprain he sustained a month ago.
