| Pat Fitzmaurice FantasyPros | Tucker Kraft is coming back from an ACL tear and small meniscus tear that ended his 2025 season after eight games and torpedoed what was shaping up to be a monster season. After a breakout 2024 season in which he had 50 catches for 707 yards and seven touchdowns, Kraft was off to a torrid start last year, with 32 catches for 489 yards and six touchdowns before getting hurt against the Panthers in Week 9. Kraft was TE2 in fantasy scoring behind only Trey McBride when he went down. If Kraft is fully healthy, he could produce big numbers in 2026. The Packers have parted ways with WRs Romeo Doubs and Dontayvion Wicks, and they didn't add any notable pass catchers in the offseason. Kraft averaged an astounding 2.33 yards per route run last season. He's a beast after the catch who's averaged 8.8 yards after catch per reception over his three-year career. Monitor the news on Kraft's recovery and be prepared to pounce if he comes with an injury discount in 2026 fantasy drafts. | |
| Derek Brown FantasyPros | DeVonta Smith steps into the clear WR1 chair for the Philly passing attack. Over the last two years, in a VERY small sample, Smith has proven that he can handle it. In three games since 2024, without A.J. Brown on the field, Smith has commanded a 32.9% target share while producing 2.65 yards per route run (per Fantasy Points Data). Yes, I know the sample is tiny, but it is signal that Smith can command WR1-level volume and remain efficient while doing so. Last year, among 109 qualifying receivers, Smith was also 27th in separation and 28th in route win rate. Last year, Smith also drew a 22.7% target share while producing 2.03 yards per route run (22nd) and 0.089 first downs per route run (32nd). I expect all of those marks to improve in 2026 with Smith leading the way for Philly. He's a WR1/2 with some upside and an extremely high floor. | Last year, before losing the rest of his season to a torn ACL (Week 9), Tucker Kraft was the TE1 in fantasy points per game. In Weeks 1-8, among 33 qualifying tight ends, Kraft ranked seventh in target share (18.3%), first in receiving yards per game (67), second in yards per route run (2.71), seventh in first-read share (21.6%), and second in first downs per route run (0.121, per Fantasy Points Data). Kraft was also a YAC gawd, leading all tight ends in yards after the catch per reception and missed tackles forced per reception. We'll have to see how he's utilized early in the season coming off the injury. If Green Bay slowly eases him in, I wouldn't be shocked, but Kraft could easily be a monster value at the tight end position in 2026 if he comes roaring back at 100% earlier than we anticipate. |
| Andrew Erickson FantasyPros | DeVonta Smith enters 2026 positioned to lead the Eagles in targets with A.J. Brown no longer in Philadelphia. The former first-round pick has consistently flashed WR1 upside whenever Brown or Dallas Goedert have missed time, while quietly delivering his third 1,000-yard season in 2025. Smith was extremely efficient last season, posting career highs in yards per route run (3.1) and yards per target (11.9) when aligned out wide. Even with rookie Makai Lemon added to the mix, Smith profiles as the clear focal point of the Eagles' passing attack with top-12 fantasy upside. | Tucker Kraft ranked as the TE1 through 8 weeks (14 PPG). TE2 in PPG. Lead all TEs in YAC/reception. Kraft was a 'my guy' the last two seasons, and all he did was deliver before he tore his ACL. But I wouldn't completely write off the 25-year-old freak athlete after the season-ending injury. Recall that Packers WR Christian Watson came back in 2025 after a very late ACL injury. He received an All-Pro vote. With no complications in Kraft's surgery, a 2026 Week 1 return isn't out of the question based on the 10-month recovery timeline. |
