Brent Burns scored two goals during Sunday's 4-1 victory over the New Jersey Devils.

Burns made two goals in the first half of the second period to bring the Sharks ahead 2-1. San Jose was cycling, passing to Burns, and collecting the rebound if necessary to continue giving Burns scoring chances. Burns had 11 shots during the game and he drained two of them with wrist-shots from the point. He now has 59 points through 57 games played. These are incredible numbers for a defenseman to be putting up. Burns is on pace to surpass his 75 point season a year ago.
