Larkin was one of a few bright spots in the 2018-19 Red Wings campaign and coming into his fifth season, the local kid is ready to take on the responsibility of being Captain. (TSN.ca)
Having played with Henrik Zetterberg and now being under the watchful eye of Steve Yzerman, Larkin will certainly have his work cut out for him to lead the Red Wings back to the playoffs in the coming years, assuming he earns the "C." Considering the pressure that comes with that title in Detroit, it remains to be seen how Larkin will respond. He's a solid pick in the fourth round of drafts with plenty of upside if the talent around him continues to get better.
