The Winnipeg Jets announced on Friday September 13th that they have granted Dustin Byfuglien a personal leave of absence from the team. No timeline for his return has been announced. (Sara Orlesky on Twitter)

This is a wait and see scenario with Byfuglien. As always, the Jets are tight-lipped about what is going on, stating only that the issue is not related to Byfuglien's health.
