Samuel Girard opens the scoring in road win

Samuel Girard was the first to pot one in Colorado's 6-1 win over the Buffalo Sabres. He posted a goal, a plus-1 rating, one shot and three blocks.
Fantasy Impact:
His goal came on a complete-line mishap as a point shot went through some bodies and confused everyone on the ice as to where it was. Girard was the only one to see where the puck ended up after the scrum and put home his second of the season. He has two goals, 27 points and a minus-5 rating to date.
