Zach Parise gets second goal of season

by Robert Klein | Avalanche Correspondent | Mon, Jan 25th 10:39am EST

Zach Parise scored a first-period goal during Minnesota's 5-3 loss to San Jose. He also had an assist and fired five shots on net in 18:46 minutes of ice time.

Fantasy Impact:

Parise now has two goals and one assist in six games played this season. He has the fortune of playing with either Kirill Kaprizov or Kevin Fiala on his line as the Wild seems to shuffle their line combinations often during the course of the game. Last season he recorded 25 goals and 21 assists in 69 games played. There is no reason he shouldn't have a strong season once again this year.
