Valeri Nichushkin has once again found the back of the net and scored the opener in Colorado's 3-2 shootout victory over the hosting New York Rangers on Tuesday. He finished the game with a goal, a minus-1 rating, five shots and three hits.
Nichushkin and his well-known large presence was planted in front of Igor Shesterkin while on the power play. Makar unwound a wrister from the point and he was able to get a stick on it for his seventh of the year (which is in line with Connor McDavid pace). He has seven goals and 12 points so far and is looking like a steal at his ADP.
