Alex Ovechkin was able to find the back of the net for the Capitals Thursday night, scoring one goal in a 4-2 loss to the Panthers.

Ovechkin continues a torrid stretch in the offensive zone of late, tallying points in 11 of his last 13 games (five goals, eight assists) for the Capitals. The veteran sniper continues to work out of an early-season goal-scoring drought as the 38-year-old chases down the all-time goal scoring record, posting 33 points (11 goals, 22 assists) in 46 games so far this season.
