Nathan MacKinnon was able to find the back of the net for the Avalanche Thursday night, scoring the team's lone goal in a 2-1 overtime loss to the Red Wings.

MacKinnon continues a torrid stretch in the offensive zone of late, recording points in each of his last five games (two goals, six assists) for the Avalanche.
