Alex Ovechkin was able to find the back of the net for the Capitals Wednesday night, scoring one goal in a 3-2 win over the Rangers.
Fantasy Impact:
Ovechkin has had a nose for the net of late, tickling the twine in four of his last six games (six goals) for the Capitals. The veteran winger continues to reward head coach Spencer Carberry with a dynamic offensive option while chasing the all-time goal scoring record as part of an explosive Washington lineup, posting a 1.07 point per game average (32 goals, 17 assists) in 46 games so far this season.
