Tampa Bay Lightning RW Nikita Kucherov scored his second goal of the season on Tuesday night, but the Tampa Bay Lightning fell to the Nashville Predators by a score of 5-4. Nashville came back from multiple deficits to force overtime, then won in a shootout. (NHL.com)

Kucherov was one of the shooters for Tampa Bay in the shootout, but he was unable to score. That has been a theme for Kucherov this year, as he has two goals and zero assists through seven games. This is a very poor start to the season for Kucherov, considering he tore it up with 29 goals, 36 assists, and a +38 rating just last season.
