Bowen Byram notched two points for the Sabres Friday night, scoring one goal and adding one assist in a 9-3 win over the Blackhawks.

Byram has heated up in the offensive zone, registering points in five of his last six games (three goals, three assists) for the Sabres. The 24-year-old has been a mostly disappointing blueline option for head coach Lindy Ruff to this point, picking up 11 points (four goals, seven assists) in 21 games so far this season.
