Timo Meier activated from non-roster list

by David Leisering | Devils Correspondent | Sat, Dec 20th 10:32pm EST

Just prior to the NHL roster freeze, the New Jersey Devils activated Timo Meier from the non-roster list. Meier missed the last five games due to a personal family health issue. Forward Xavier Parent and defenseman Calen Addison were reassigned to Utica of the American Hockey League. (New Jersey Devils on X)

Fantasy Impact:

Meier, who leads the Devils with 11 goals on the season, is expected to return to the lineup on Sunday when they host the Buffalo Sabres. Prior to his five-game absence, Meier had six goals and three assists over his last 10 games. He should return to a top-six position up front and will see plenty of power play time as he leads the Devils with five power play tallies.
