Aliaksei Protas was able to find the back of the net for the Capitals Thursday, scoring one goal in a 4-3 loss to the Senators.

Protas continues a dynamic stretch in the offensive zone, recording points in seven of his last eight games (six goals, five assists) for the Capitals. The 24-year-old continues to offer head coach Spencer Carberry one of the more impactful offensive options in the Minnesota lineup, posting 31 points (16 goals, 15 assists) in 41 games so far this season.
