Alex Tuch was able to light the lamp for the Sabres Thursday night, scoring one goal in a 5-3 win over the Canadiens.

Tuch has caught fire in the offensive zone, notching points in eight of his last nine games (five goals, four assists) for the Sabres. The 29-year-old has offered head coach Lindy Ruff one of the more reliable offensive options as part of a resurgent Buffalo lineup, posting 39 points (16 goals, 23 assists) in 45 games so far this season.
