Brock Nelson was able to find the back of the net for the Avalanche Friday night, scoring one goal in a 4-1 win over the Blackhawks.

Nelson has provided mixed results in the offensive zone of late, recording points in five of his last nine games (one goal, five assists) for the Avalanche. The veteran center has offered head coach Jared Bednar one of many impactful offensive options as part of a talented Colorado lineup, notching 56 points (31 goals, 25 assists) in 68 games so far this season.
