A veteran playing every single game for a rebuilding team, and actually having a great year, was unexpected, to say the least. Fowler was one of the few Ducks worth rostering in all formats by season's end, along with Trevor Zegras and Troy Terry. If the Ducks improve the roster for next season and still give Fowler a good portion of the ice time he saw this year, he will be a more than serviceable sleeper defenceman heading into 2023-2024.

If you are in need of a defenceman to close out the Fantasy season, ensure Fowler is not available in your league.

Fowler has been dominant since the Ducks resumed play after the All-star break. He has two goals and 13 assists in his last thirteen games, and on the year he has 41 points in 67 games. Those numbers make him quite serviceable in virtually every format. If he is still available in your league, it is worth adding him if you need help on defence. This kind of production is hard to find this late in the season, but because he plays for the lowly Ducks, he may not get the respect he deserves and could be overlooked.
