Filip Zadina scored the game-winning-goal in the Red Wings’ 4-3 win over the Canadiens on Tuesday. Zadina had a goal on four SOG in 15:08 of ice-time.

Fantasy Impact

Zadina has earned himself a spot on the first line power-play unit. He now has five goals and six assists thru 19 games this season. Look for him to only improve as the season goes on. He could be stashed for now or added to your watch list at a minimum.

Filip Zadina pots his fourth of the season

Filip Zadina scored a power-play goal in the Red Wings 4-2 loss to the Blackhawks on Sunday. He was a minus one with one goal, one PPG and four SOG in 19:24 of ice-time.

Fantasy Impact

Zadina had a three game pointless streak going before finding twine on Sunday. He now has four goals and six assists thru 18 games this season. Look for him to see a lot of ice-time and power-play time going forward because the Red Wings' have nothing to play for. He could be a sneaky good add in deeper leagues.

Fantasy Impact

Zadina now has two goals and five assists thru 10 games. He is worth a speculative add since he is beginning to skate with better players. He has been promoted to the second line with Anthony Mantha, he could continue to pile up some points. Get him now before everyone wants him.

Filip Zadina scores his first of the year

Filip Zadina scored his first goal of the season in the Red Wings 5-2 victory over the Jets on Thursday. He was a plus two with one goal, two assists, one PPG, one PPP and four SOG in 14:50 of ice-time.

Fantasy Impact

After being the sixth overall pick in the 2018 NHL draft, he is showing he has some skill that can be refined. Look for him to get going soon once he builds enough confidence. He now has one goal and five assists thru eight games He should be a main stay with the Wings baring an injury the rest of the season because they have nothing to play for except future development of their young players.

Fantasy Impact

This was Zadina's first career goal with many more to come. He does not hold fantasy value rest of season. His future is still very bright. Look for him to be a late round pick in your 2019-2020 drafts.
