Zach Hyman slid a backhander past Stars goalie Scott Wedgewood in the 2nd period to give the Oilers a 3-2 lead en route to a 5-2 win Wednesday night.
The 29-year-old has fit right in after signing with Edmonton as a free agent after six seasons in Toronto. The left wing has set career high in both goals (25) and assists (26) playing mainly on a line with Leon Draisaitl and Kailer Yamamoto. The goal was his first in seven games, although he did record three assists over that stretch.
Zach Hyman registered his 19th and 20th assists of the season in a 6-1 route over the Sabers. He finished with a +1 rating, two SOG, and one hit.
Hyman continues to have a solid season for the Oilers. He has 40 points in 55 games this season.

Hyman continues to be a productive member of the Oilers offense this season. He has 17 points in 21 games and is worth starting as a part of the best offense in the league.
