Zach Sanford registers a hat trick

Zach Sanford had a hat trick in the Senators' 7-5 loss to the Avalanche on Monday. He was a plus one with three goals, three SOG and two blocks in 15:15 of ice-time.

Fantasy Impact

Sanford not only had the hat trick tonight but he scored on all three shots he took. This will be a night for him to remember forever. He should be left on the wavier wire. I believe Sanford's shooting percentage is due for a little regression.

Barring any setback, the two hub cities for the NHL restart will be Toronto and Edmonton. The NHL originally was going to open in one American city (Las Vegas) and one in Canada. Due to rise of COVID-19 cases in Las Vegas, the NHL playoffs will restart in Canada. The CBA negotiations between the players union, and a vote of the players is expected this week.
