Matthew Szczur went 1-for-5 and drove in the second run for the Cubs to make it 2-0 in the second inning. He also hit the ground ball in the 13th inning that lead to the throwing error that scored Almora.
Fantasy Impact:
He is going to struggle to provide reliable fantasy value without some injuries or a trade since he is currently behind several players most days. He will still see the occasional start or bench-hit appearance to keep him from getting rusty. He also can be a sneaky DFS play on the days you know he is starting with a good match up.
