Chris Carter signs minor-league deal with Angels

Chris Carter has agreed to a minor-league deal with the Angels. He will receive $1.75 million if he makes the majors and can earn $600,000 in incentives. (Jon Heyman on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Carter hit .201 with eight home runs in 61 games with the Yankees last season, but hit 41 home runs in 2016 with the Brewers. Although it's unlikely that he can recover that form, with C.J. Cron out of the way, Carter may find some value in deep AL-only leagues.
