by Dale Redman | Wed, Dec 10th 11:53am EST

Cubs shortstop Starlin Castro has been cleared of any wrongdoing in a nightclub shooting in his native Dominican Republic. Castro's agent says it was just a case of wrong place at the wrong time for Castro. He was at a concert when someone opened fire at a car next to his and his family. (CBS Chicago)

Fantasy Impact:

Initial reports went as far to allege Castro and fellow MLB player Engel Beltre had been seen carrying a gun. It appears that there is no basis to these reports and Castro will not face any charges. Castro will be expected to be one of the leaders on the Cubs offense as the 24 year old is already entering his sixth season.
