Rays trade Wil Myers to the Padres

The Tampa Bay Rays were involved in a three team deal today, pending physicals, trading OF Wil Myers, C Ryan Hanigan, and minor leaguers to the Padres. Key players in return include OF Steven Souza from the Nationals, C Rene Rivera and RHP Burch Smith from the Padres. (ESPN)
Fantasy Impact:
OF Steve Souza, the 2014 AAA IL MVP, should have the most fantasy impact and will replace Myers in RF. He is considered a toolsy player, with the potential of a 15-20 HR and 20 SB season if he stays healthy. C Rene Rivera would only have value in deep 2 catcher leagues. P Burch Smith will likely spend most the season in the AAA Durham rotation.
