Jesus Montero starts strong this spring

Jesus Montero started at 1B for the Mariners in their first spring training game. He went 2-2 at the plate with two singles up the middle.
Fantasy Impact:
Montero has been a polarizing prospect for the Mariners since they acquired him from the Yankees. He worked hard over the offseason and lost 40 pounds and appears to be in great shape. Montero likely will start out in the minor leagues, but he is a dark horse candidate to win the 1B job out of spring.
