CC Sabathia threw 29 pitches on Sunday to Greg Bird and Rob Refsnyder, utilizing all his pitches. He will likely pitch a simulated game next, followed by his first Grapefruit League action. (MLB.com)
Fantasy Impact:
CC Sabathia says he is on schedule with what he and Yankees decided heading into the spring following his rough 2014 where he made only eight starts and ended up having knee surgery. The biggest question is whether Sabathia can retain his old form and be a top of the rotation pitcher. That is still yet to be known but he was, until last year, a perennial 200 inning pitcher. He could be a high risk, high reward pick in your upcoming draft.
