Fantasy Impact:
The D'Backs have released 37 minor leaguers this week, Jackson among them. The veteran right-hander put up an ugly 9.58 ERA between the Blue Jays and Tigers last year. The 36-year-old was a sixth-round pick by the Dodgers way back in 2001.
