Nick Tepesch continued his very average spring as he allowed four hits and three earned runs over five innings today in the Rangers 15-8 victory over the Los Angeles Angels. (www.mlb.com)
Fantasy Impact:
The fifth spot in the rotation is Tepesch's for the taking, but the third-year pro continues to give others a chance with mediocre performances. He only allowed the four hits, and only walked one, but he also only recorded one strikeout in lowering his ERA to an unacceptable 8.56. With just two weeks left until the regular season, the last spot in the rotation is still wide open.
