Howie Kendrick has mutual option declined by Nationals

Fantasy Impact:
The mutual option was valued at $6.5 million but Kendrick will instead receive a $2.25 million buyout. The 37-year-old wasn't as productive in 2020 as he was during the Nats' 2019 championship season.
