Michael Cuddyer hits home run in win over Braves
by Kerry Kauffman | Mon, Apr 13th 1:06pm EDT
Michael Cuddyer jump-started the New York Mets in their 4-3 win over the Atlanta Braves on Sunday. Cuddyer hit his first home run of the season to give the Mets a 2-0 lead. Cuddyer is hitting .208 with three RBI after the first week of the season.
Fantasy Impact:
Cuddyer, a career .278 hitter with 188 home runs, hit .332 in 49 games last season with the Rockies. The 36-year old veteran will likely still be a solid contributor, but don't expect him to hit over .300 or top the 20 home run mark playing in New York.
