Josh Hamilton officially shipped to Texas

Josh Hamilton has officially been traded to the Texas Rangers for a player to be named later or cash considerations. (Angels on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
This is actually probably the best case scenario for Josh Hamilton. The Rangers are in need of a power bat in the outfield and that's what he can provide. Hamilton is still on the DL from offseason shoulder surgery but should be in the lineup once healthy. He will not be disciplined for an offseason drug relapse so that is of no concern. As long as he stays clean in Texas where he was a five time All-Star, he should be good to go.
