Wednesday against the Twins, Rick Porcello pitched seven innings allowing six earned runs on seven hits and two walks. Porcello also struck out two while surrendering two home runs.
Fantasy Impact:
On the bright side, Porcello did pitch seven innings. Unfortunately, six earned runs in an outing of any length is just not going to cut it. To compound matters, the difference making HR's that Porcello surrendered were against two players who owned a combined one HR on the season entering the game (Hicks 0, Rosario 1). It wouldn't be unreasonable to keep Porcello on your roster if you have the room, but you are starting him at your own risk right now.
