Baltimore Orioles outfielder Adam Jones returns to the lineup on Monday's game against the Houston Astros after missing two games due to a sore left side. He received this injury when he slide into home plate during Thursday's game. (ESPN)

According to Orioles Manager Bud Showalter, Jones was added to the lineup as a designated hitter to keep him off his feet. According to Jones, he responded well to Monday's running, no more swelling. Jones had a game average of .299 with three at bat, one strike out and one run.
