Ian Kennedy struggled through 2/3 of an inning in relief Tuesday, allowing two runs on two hits while also walking two, blowing a save chance, and taking the loss in relief in the Diamondbacks' 6-5 loss to the Padres.
Fantasy Impact:
Kennedy has allowed runs in two of his last three relief appearances for the Diamondbacks, posting a 2.25 WHIP in that span. The veteran right-hander will look to get back on track going forward, posting a 3.60 ERA and 1.36 WHIP with 40 strikeouts and 10 saves in 50 relief appearances this season.
