Joel Payamps pitched 1/3 of the ninth inning on Tuesday night, giving up a walk-off solo home run as he took the loss for the A's in their 8-7 game against the Rangers.
Fantasy Impact:
Payamps has been adequate at best on the mound this season, as he has pitched to the tune of an 2.98 ERA with a WHIP of 1.36. The Athletics' reliever should not be rostered as he has not picked up any saves this season.
