Zack Greinke extends scoreless streak to 35 2/3 innings
by Stan Son | Fri, Jul 10th 1:53am EDT
Zack Greinke was brilliant again Wednesday night against the Philadelphia Phillies. He pitched eight innings of one hit ball to extend his scoreless streak to 35 2/3 innings. He did not walk a batter and struck out eight. 63-of-94 pitches were thrown for strikes.
Fantasy Impact:
Wow. Greinke now possesses a 1.39 ERA and 0.84 WHIP. He's struck out 106 batters in 123 1/3 innings with an insane 6:1 strikeout/walk ratio. If he maintains that pace, it would place him in the top 50 k:bb performances of all time. Greinke is currently the No. 11 overall player on ESPN's Player Rater.
