Jose Alvarez signs minors deal with Tigers

Fantasy Impact:
While the Tigers inked the left-hander on Wednesday Alvarez will miss the entire 2023 season following September 2022 Tommy John surgery. He pitched to a 5.28 ERA in 21 outings with the Giants last season but is the owner of a career 3.47 mark across 447 big-league appearances. He returns to the organization that he began his career with in 2013 when he pitched to a 5.82 ERA across the first 14 appearances of his MLB career.
