Amir Garrett signs minors pact with Guardians

Fantasy Impact:
Garrett was designated for assignment by the Royals earlier in July and ended up becoming a free agent shortly after. He'll head to Cleveland on a minors pact but has been assigned to Triple-A Columbus for the time being. The left-hander owns a career 4.95 ERA across 322 appearances and actually pitched to a 3.33 ERA with Kansas City this season. The problem was a monstrous 17.9% BB% while Garrett has long had issues finding the zone, as per his career 13.2% BB%.
