Trent Thornton has been traded to the Seattle Mariners for Triple-A infielder Mason McCoy. (Jeff Passan on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Thornton was designated for assignment by the Blue Jays last week, but will now head to the Mariners to join their bullpen. He had a 1.69 ERA and 8.44 K/9 in 5.1 innings with the Blue Jays this season.
