Curtis Mead to be called up Friday

Fantasy Impact:
Mead will head to Detroit and take the roster spot of the injured Shane McClanahan. The 22-year-old infielder has a .283/.369/.440 slash line, with three home runs, and 32 RBI in 50 games this season. Fantasy managers should expect Mead to see starts at either third or second base against left handed starting pitchers.
