Carlos Carrasco (finger) lands on 15-day IL

The injury is expected to sideline Carrasco four-to-six weeks, meaning his season is likely over. The veteran was scheduled to start for the Mets Wednesday, but the team will now have to turn to another arm to start. The 36-year-old will head into free agency after a disappointing season that saw him post a 6.80 ERA and a 1.70 WHIP in 90 innings pitched with the Mets.
