With a 6.44 ERA on the season, Lyles has been inconsistent and unreliable, making him a risky option for fantasy owners moving forward. His lack of strikeouts (5.99 K/9) and high WHIP (1.28) further diminish his fantasy appeal. Unless he can turn things around quickly, it may be best to look elsewhere for pitching help.
