Cardinals manager Oli Marmol said Lars Nootbaar took soft-toss swings on Sunday and Monday without ill effects from the rib fractures on his left side. (John Denton on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Nootbaar is still slated to open the season on the injured list. It doesn't appear like he will miss too much time.
