Asdrubal Cabrera had a .356 batting average in August, but ended on a poor note with a 5-for-23 performance in the last week of August, although he had four RBI and five runs scored. (ESPN)
Fantasy Impact:
Cabrera has been outstanding in the second half, posting a .366 batting average and 15 extra-base hits, and had 12 extra-base hits and 20 runs scored in August. Those looking for depth at 2B and SS would do well to pick up Cabrera, who homered for the 10th time of the season on the last day of August as well.
