Marco Gonzales has short outing in first start of the season

Gonzales, making his first start for the Cardinals this season, was only able to last 2 2/3 innings before giving way to the bullpen. Gonzales put up two scoreless frames before he was unable to make it through the third inning. He gave up four runs on seven hits, while striking out one batter and issuing one walk.
Fantasy Impact:
Gonzales allowed five out of the first six Nationals batters to reach base with hits in the third inning. Gonzales could get more spot starts down the stretch depending on the health of the other Cardinals starters. Wait to see him start to perform better before considering him for a spot in your fantasy lineup.
