Colby Rasmus jacks a homer in Wednesday win

Getting a start at left field during Wednesday evening's 11-5 victory over the Oakland Athletics, Colby Rasmus went 2-for-4 with his 19th home run of the year and a double. He also tallied a pair of strikeouts and drew a walk in the game. Rasmus has risen his average up to .230 on the season.
Fantasy Impact:
Rasmus has certainly been playing a lot better recently. I personally favor him to start everyday in center field over Gomez. But since I don't make lineup decisions, I can only advise that fantasy holders keep a very close eye on Rasmus. Should an opportunity present itself, you may also want to acquire him on your roster for, if nothing else, a utility man.
