Andrew Aplin draws a walk Monday

Filling in late in center field on Monday against the Washington Nationals, Andrew Aplin could not get a hit. He went 0-for-2 with a pair of ground outs. While he did also draw a walk, Aplin has taken a huge chunk off of his average, which is now down to .200 in Grapefruit League.
Fantasy Impact:
As unfortunate as it is, this performance from Aplin and subsequent shrink in average may just cost him a spot on the opening day roster for the team. Since more cuts are on the horizon, the young center fielder is very likely to be apart of that. Fantasy owners will want to avoid drafting Aplin right now.
